ABOUT US
Trinity aims to help bridge the gap between God and the human race. We reintroduce love and empathy toward all by setting an example of the true love of God. We strive to be a focal point in our community to integrate spiritual awareness in our neighborhoods. Trinity aspires to bring a sense of dignity and esteem back into families lives by combating issues of drugs and violence. All while assisting the needs for the homeless, the lost and destitute. Overall, we hope to engrave a message on the hearts of men, women and children alike that "God is still in control".

THE HISTORY OF TRINITY
Trinity Tabernacle, Inc. was originally founded in 1983, under the leadership of Pastor Mary Ann Jones in Providence, RI. Located in the Jones' home, services included Sunday Worship and a popular Bible Study for neighborhood youth. However, in 1990, Pastor Mary Ann Jones heard the voice of the Lord and closed the doors of Trinity. She joined and became a faithful member of Holy Cross C.O.G.I.C.

Listening to the voice of the Lord yet again, Pastor Jones was called to reopen the doors of Trinity in 1997, this time with the assistance of her husband, Overseer Joseph L. Jones. With the revamping of the church came a new name: Trinity Tabernacle, Inc. Tri-Christ Ministries. Overseer Jones shared a revelation inspired by God, giving Trinity the slogan "A Church With A Vision". As the church continued to expand, Pastor Jones knew it was time for the church to find a new home. Through a plan authorized by God, Trinity found its new home at 745 North Broadway, East Providence, RI in April of 1999. In 2012, after creating new unions with New Life Ministry and the Portuguese church, El Shaddai, Trinity was once again renamed Trinity Tabernacle, Inc. Tri-Christ Multicultural Outreach Ministries. By 2014, As Pastor Jones matured and took on the title of Senior Pastor, she saw that new leadership was necessary and the church received its new leader, Executive Pastor Pam Bird. Trinity later found a new home at 65 Newport Avenue in Rumford, RI where the Lord spoke to Pastor Pam, guiding her to become a part of both Tabernacle Ministries under Bishop James Keith and Morning Star Fellowship under Bishop Dwight Dove in 2018. Bishops Keith and Dove both saw fit to ordain Pastor Jones as Overseer. Months later, on September 7th, the Lord called Overseer Mary Ann Jones home to glory. Continuing forward, now Senior Pastor Pam Bird, Assistant Pastor Shirley Hood and the rest of the clergy strive to still impact the community through weekly services and outreach programs.
